Example Calculation

Given:
Energy content = 2.5 kJ/g
Molar mass = 58.5 g/mol
Density = 1200 g/L

Find:
kJ/mol = 2.5 × 58.5 = 146.25 kJ/mol
kJ/L = 2.5 × 1200 = 3000 kJ/L
