Irony and Satire
Scriptural Basis - in view of stereotyping

Mt 7:1-3 - “Judge not that ye be not judged…why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?”

Rom 2:1-6, 11 – "You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?...For God does not show favouritism".

Rom 11 (Gentiles ‘lower’ than Jews) - "do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either".
